Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah Institution of Engineering (BMSCE), also known as B.M.S. College of Engineering, is a private engineering college in Basavanagudi, Bangalore. The college was founded by Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah in 1946 and the B.M.S Educational Trust is in charge of its administration. Admissions to all the courses offered at BMSCE are done on the basis of various state and national-level entrance tests. BMSCE offers B.E. as its flagship program. To get admission to the flagship program, candidates are required to have a cutoff around 4500 in the KCET exam. In order to offer Huawei Scholarships for Excellence to students at the Engineering College, Huawei Technologies India, the Indian R&D Center of Huawei (a major provider of ICT solutions globally), has struck an agreement with BMS College of Engineering. Students enrolled in the second, third, and fourth years of the Bachelor of Engineering course will receive a scholarship worth INR 50,000 each year.
